Jumeirah To Launch First Hotel Under New Brand In Dubai

Jumeirah Group will operate a new hotel in Dubai under its Zabeel House by Jumeirah brand, the company announced on Sunday.

The announcement follows Jumeirah Group’s recent signing of a management agreement with the Onyx for Development, a subsidiary of Ishraqah for Development Ltd.

The hotel, which will be known as Zabeel House by Jumeirah-The Greens, is scheduled to open in Q4 2018. The hotel will include 210 guest rooms, two restaurants, conference and business facilities, as well as gym and spa options.

According to Jumeirah Group, the hotel’s location has been chosen for its geographic convenience, with easy access to Sheikh Zayed road and Dubai Media City, Internet City, and Barsha Heights.

“This new hotel truly encapsulaZabeel House by Jumeirah - The Greens - Artists Impressiontes the essence of Zabeel House by Jumeirah,” said Marc Dardenne, Jumeirah Group chief operating officer and interim CEO.

“The Greens is a great location and an up and coming, growing district, perfect for the curious traveller who wants to experience local life or explore the city.”

“It is a fantastic addition to our portfolio and will perfectly fit within the neighbourhood to be enjoyed by both residents and visitors,” he added.

Ammar Sweis, Ishraqah for Development CEO, said that the project “will be a central focus for The Greens master development”.

“We are confident that with Jumeirah’s hospitality expertise, the hotel and The Onyx project will be a new destination in Dubai and a very important asset for us and the community,” he added.

Jumeirah Group has signed five hotel management agreements for Zabeel House by Jumeirah, with more announcements expected over the next few months.

The company currently operates 19 Jumeirah hotels under its ‘Stay Different’ luxury hotel brand in Europe, the Middle Eat and Asia.
