Dubai is set to welcome a transformative retail and lifestyle destination with the launch of Dubai Square Mall in Dubai Creek Harbour. Announced by Mohamed Alabbar, founder and managing director of Emaar Properties, the mall is expected to open within the next three years, offering a revolutionary shopping and entertainment experience.
A Mall Three Times the Size of Downtown Dubai
Spanning 2.6 million square meters, Dubai Square will be three times larger than Downtown Dubai. The project, part of a Dh180 billion investment, is designed as an indoor city featuring pedestrian-friendly spaces that allow electric vehicles to navigate its interior—a step forward in Dubai’s vision for sustainable and smart urban infrastructure.
Innovative Shopping, Dining, and Entertainment
Dubai Square will integrate next-generation retail concepts, entertainment zones, and dining experiences, complemented by AI-driven design tools to anticipate visitor and retailer needs. Alabbar emphasized that while AI is relatively new in design, Emaar is leveraging advanced systems to craft future-ready customer experiences.
Seamless Integration with Dubai Creek Harbour
The mall will be linked to the upcoming Dubai Creek Tower and forms a central part of Dubai Creek Harbour, a master-planned district offering 7.4 million square meters of residential space, green zones, and pedestrian-friendly streets along Dubai Creek. Visitors will enjoy seamless access to retail, leisure, and natural attractions such as the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary.
With Emaar’s extensive experience—serving over 100 million visitors annually and managing more than 1,500 retailers—Dubai Square is poised to redefine Dubai’s retail and leisure landscape, combining scale, innovation, and sustainability like never before.
