Dubai Announces New Benefits for UAE Residents Buying Their First Property

In a move designed to make home ownership more accessible for residents, the Dubai Land Department (DLD), in partnership with the Department of Economy and Tourism, has launched a major new initiative to support first-time property buyers in the UAE.

This landmark programme brings together more than 13 leading real estate developers, five major banks, and top property platforms — all working together to offer first-time buyers unmatched advantages. It’s part of Dubai’s wider D33 strategy, aiming to enhance quality of life, deepen community roots, and grow the city’s population to 5.8 million by 2040.

What’s in it for You?

If you’re a UAE resident and ready to buy your first home, this programme gives you:

  • Priority access to new property launches

  • Special prices on selected apartments and villas

  • Flexible payment plans

  • Interest-free registration fee

  • Tailored mortgage solutions from partner banks

Buyers can register their interest through the DLD website or Dubai REST app, where they simply select preferences such as budget, property type (villa or apartment), and preferred contact method. Once registered, developers and banks will directly receive the information and reach out with personalized offers.

Who's On Board?

The programme includes top-tier developers like Emaar, Nakheel, Damac, Azizi, Danube Properties, Ellington, Binghatti, Majid Al Futtaim, and more. Partnering banks include Emirates NBD, Commercial Bank of Dubai, and Emirates Islamic, while leading real estate portals Dubizzle, Property Finder, and Bayut are supporting the digital process.

Why It Matters

Dubai continues to attract over 10,000 new investors every month, and this initiative empowers long-term residents to invest with confidence. By helping individuals and families own their first homes, the city is promoting stability, belonging, and long-term growth.

“To many residents who’ve dreamed of owning a home in Dubai, this programme offers not just a property — but a sense of pride, stability, and a future to call their own,” the DLD stated.

This is more than just a real estate incentive — it’s a strategic step toward making Dubai the world’s best city to live in.
